Víctor Barba!
The artwork of Spaniard Víctor Barba Pizarro (his website here) has appeared in several Spanish editions of Conan and related comics, including Conan, El Barbaro Vol. 2, La Espada Salvaje De Conan Vol. 2, Relatos Salvajes, and El Reino Salvaje de Conan.
In La Espada Salvaje (#10) and Relatos Salvajes (#0), Victor's sequential artwork is not Conan in particular but heroic fantasy nonetheless, and perhaps one day I'll take a shot at translating it into English. In El Barbaro (#25), a color poster of Conan is featured, and it looks just like this!
El Reino Salvaje #9 contains a short Conan tale, "The Oasis", with a script by fellow Spaniard Juan Carlos Cereza...perhaps a preview of Victor's artwork from this story is in order!
Nice! And yes, I mucked with the script a little in that sample, just me being me.
You might recall that Juan's scripts have made a couple of previous appearances on CROM! (Gremai here and The Lost Warriors here). This comic also features another fabulous Jesús Sáiz/Fernando Blanco cover! OK, enough of me flapping...here is "The Oasis", recently translated into English!
