More Conehead the Barbituate!

Mad magazine was standard fare around our house growing up, as I suspect was the case for many of you.  I even had the opportunity to meet Sergio Aragonés at a very young age, and it's something that I remember well to this day. 

Well Don Martin was no slouch either, and his Conehead the Barbituate story (originally posted on Crom! here by Reis) needs a follow up!

The cover of that particular issue of Mad was a magnificent piece by none other than Boris Vallejo, and appears to be based on an equally magnificent painting of his from years earlier...

Not long ago, Marcos sent us the cover from the Brazilian edition of Mad that ran that same Conehead story, and pointed out that it's a remake of a classic Frazetta painting...how cool is that!

That got me wondering if there were other Mad issues featuring Conehead worth seeing...I didn't find anything that even remotely compares with the two covers above, but I did find these - the German and Swedish editions!
