Natalie Portman’s beautiful and talented, Natalie' films are hits, Portman has a degree from Harvard University and Portman was the youngest ever Cannes Film Festival jury member.

Maybe...You might think that there’s nothing that Hollywood actress Natalie Portman can’t do. However the vegetarian and animal rights activist’s vegan shoe range has officially flopped.

Which is surprising as Natalie Portman clearly has fab footwear style judging by this picture, black satin heels with pom pom effect…sure fire winners! Shame she didn’t take inspiration from this quirky pair!




The leather-free shoes that Natalie Portman recently designed for hip New York store Te Casan have recorded a loss this month, becoming the latest victim of the current economic climate.

Costing around £150 a pair it is believed that the shoes are a little too rich even for NY’s do-gooders.

This casts some doubt over the latest range of celeb eco-shoes currently being designed by Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie.

But while Natalie Portman and Fergie’s shoes might be beyond America’s pockets, here in the UK the 2.5% VAT cut means more money to spend on shoes… cosy UGGs anyone?

Sorry Portman, but we can’t resist the sheepskin!
