The first thing about me that you should know is that I am a sucker for colour, so its no surprise that I am loving the colour-blocking trend that has been hitting the runways and red carpets this season!
Whether you're making a big statement through contrasting tops and bottoms or a smaller one through your accessories, you will get heads turning!

Here are some tips if you're thinking of trying this trend at home:
- Colour blocking is a statement look, it doesn't have to be too overwhelming, at the expense of looking like a mish mash of colours. Two or three colours work well together, giving just enough room for added accessories; complimenting an overall outfit.
- Clash to the Max – This is the poignant element of colour blocking. The eighties revival. Sharp textures and bright colours. Clashing is the ingredient needed to complete the look.
- Don't want to colour-block from head to toe? Wear a simple outfit and let your accessories do the talking. Belts, bags and shoes that add a pop of colour to a simple outfit can be just as effective as an colour-block ensemble.
- And most importantly?? Experiment and have fun!
What are your thoughts? Do you like this trend?
Much Love xx
