It can get unbearably hot here in the Canadian Prairies during the summer. The unique geography of central Alberta usually means that the hotter the days, the more moisture gets draw into the atmosphere from nearby Sylvan Lake. At night, with the slightest cooling of the air we can have a hour or so a violent storms followed by a cooling calm that makes sleeping so much easier for a grand polar bear like myself.
