I love this trend because it works on all different body types and is a relatively cheap trend to follow!

I wouldn't recommend wearing this look head-to-toe - too much can make you look a bit sloppy and costumey!

People seem to be steering away from 'camoflague' prints (which can look a bit outdated) and are favouring khaki, olive and navy colours.

This trend looks its freshest when teamed with simple classic pieces in white, black, red and denim. It also looks great with leather accessories such as bags and heels.

The key to wearing this look is to keep it feminine - clashing girly, feminine pieces with the masculinity of the military style looks so chic! :)

• Incorporate a girly vintage dress with a cropped military jacket.
• Wear a simple white t-shirt with fatigue pants and a pair of killer heels.
• 'Aviator' sunglasses compliment this trend very well.
• Work dog tags or other military looking jewelery pieces into your look.
• Tan accessories such as belts, bags and heels give this look a polished finish.
• Try military style heels or boots with a soft dress for a chic, interesting look.
• Swap your latest 'it' bag for a military style field bag.
• Keep it very subtle and simply wear a singlet or t-shirt in a uniform colour.
