Fancy Meeting You Here...Again!

Back with more of Marvel's Conan, looking to lay waste in all the wrong places!

Fantastic Four
#405, October 1995

Tom DeFalco and Paul Ryan: Script, Plot, Pencils

Giant Spider? Doesn’t look like a BWS Conan, so he didn’t just take a detour from CTB #4…more likely from SSOC #24, as this Conan’s got a Buscema look about him. Alright Conan, go easy on the puny Ant-Man! Might I suggest you moosh him under your sandal, or perhaps with the blunt side of your sword?

Ummm…where did that “swakk!” sound effect come from in this next panel? Was that a result of Conan’s hand smacking something, or is that the sound of a knee to the iron groin?

Green Goblin
Vol. 1, #10, July 1996

Tom DeFalco: Script
Scott McDaniel: Pencils

The Phil Urich incarnation in this case, and he has such an eloquent way with words…”Arnold Schwarzenegger wanna-be”, “barbarian blowhole”, “sword-swinging stooge”…Crom count the Goblin giblets!

Paradise X: Heralds
Vol 1, #1, December 2001

Jim Krueger: Script
Steve Pugh: Art

And who’s that standing between Sonja and Conan? Yup, Roy’s Hyborian hell-raiser, Kulan Gath! We have Gath’s mystic amulet to thank for this divergence in continuity….now if Elric would just step in and put an end to this madness!

I've heard about several other unexpected Conan appearances, such as in Dr. Strange vol 3, #26, Fantastic Four #411, Tomb of Dracula #27, Incomplete Death's Head #11, and there are undoubtedly others, so keep your eyes peeled!
