I hope any of the accounting Guru's here help me answer this.
I got an RFE for ability to pay. My current wage is 4000$ less than the prooffered wage. My company filed 1120S and there is no net income line on it, there is only a Ordinary Business Income (total income- Total deductions) line which has 6503$. Is Ordinary business income considered same as Net Income?
My Lawyer is trying to include a cover letter arguing that Current wage + Net Income > Prooffered wage. Do you think "Ordinary Business Income" can be considered as "Net Income".

IV has to priorotize before going to a lobbyist, with very very few contributions made, its very difficult to have everything bundled into a single request.
Its also unfair that L1 has to work for specific company but L1 spouces can work for any company any job, its so funny, when you think H1 has to work for specfic company and only for specfic job, but spouces can work for any compnay any job any salary without any labor department intervention
Immmigration awareness has increased a lot among US voters, when it comes to threat of their jobs being lost, and democratic senators are very much aware of it, hence CIR is no longer their priority.
I am not fighting but YES, my reason to join IV was to find justice to the H-4 not being able to work when L-1 spouses and Agjob spouses (I read this a year ago) could. Although no promises were made from IV, I was surpired today since nothing was ever said regarding no interest in the H-4 cause when many discussion were in place. Here people contribute for their own benefits, I was here for the H-4s, that is why I transcribed part of the conference calls too, so I was somehow a contributer to a cause that doesn't represnt my interests, but I know it represents the interests of the unmarried folks, or married to IT spouses folks.

does soft LUD mean RFE is comming or does it mean there are just pre adjudicating. Seems like a lot of people who got a soft LUD on 485 recieved rfe. Are there any people who had a soft lud on 485 but did not recieve any rfe.

Not always true. They might be pre adjudicating. My 485 app had soft LUD on 02/10 and no RFE till today...

Before giving an analogy, think twice.
If black hats were around during the Indian independence movement, here's how it would have been:
In 1930's
Black hat: "What the hell, Gandhi! What good did salt satyagraha do? Where are the results? What did you achieve in the last 15 years? Change the leadership."
In 1940's:
Black hat: "Yeah. I continue to do nothing. But you suck."
In 1942:
Black hat: "Quit India movement! What a stupid waste of time. Gandhi, you should do a cultural show and raise some money."
Ok. Ideas seem to be always welcome at IV. But crassly worded trashing of volunteer leaders rankles a lot of us.
I won't be reading that silly sounding de bono hat book you suggest. But I might go to a cultural show by that other Bono and help him raise some money.

Sadly, your ambitions are noble, but its a cruel world out there ... we can give a guestimate ... but no estimate ....and that too just to throw off the other side either way ... either to think that we are way ahead or to think that we are waaaaaaay behind ..... let them wrack their brains and use a calculator and some of their not-so-cheap-labor-math skills to find out where we are at for a change
.... you have to be couple of steps ahead ... always .... thats the way we ALL got here in the first place :)
Maybe I am being naive. But we are not a political organization. I sure do hope we are not. We should be open, clear and precise about our goals and our funding sources/drives. Frankly our opponents pump in millions of dollars into their effort. Maybe one of these days we can compete with them monetarily. But all I know is they can get millions of dollars but not 25000 committed members.
Hence IMHO we disclose our goals. We disclose our costs up front. We have nothing to hide.

If you have health insurance (which I doubt) go to some doc. and get some life injected. That will certainly help you in your current situation and you may be able to jump to EB1.:D

FYI ...With support from a few people .. we are in the process of filing a Direct injunction for stoppage and immediate audit of interfiled/approved cases. But more support would be appreciated.

I did an AC21 before my GC got approved. I did this on my EAD card and when I joined I filed my I9 form for taxes. Now after getting GC do I need to renew my I9 form or the old one stays valid?
Also since I am not with my GC sponsoring employer do I still need to follow the 6 months rule with my current employer since date of approval?
Also can we move this compilation to IV Wiki?

election so they wont do any controversial bill. Same thing was said before the midterm election. So once they after the presidential election would they again say they have to face the midterm in 2010 so no controversial bills?
