My LUD is just changed from 11/07 to 11/25 but didn't change the notification . I am excited/nervous now and crossing my fingers. Should I expect any result today?

This is on the front page of Google Video. As we fight for the hearts and minds of the population and the understanding of the senators and congressmen, this can be damaging.

IMO don't sign up for Lingo.
I have 2 lines one on Vonage another on Lingo. After moving my second line from Vonage to Lingo I am planning to move the second line back to vonage.
Here are some cons of Lingo:
1. Sound quality is not as good as Vonage
2. Contract: 2 years for Lingo, 1 year for Vonage
3. Customer Service: Lingo cs is poor and occasionally rude. Vonage cs has is excellent.

FYI
Most insurance companies cover the immunization and test part of the USCIS medical exam.
When finished with the Dr.'s office don't forget to take the receipt and then file for insurance claim.
We did ours in Jan 2004 when we filed our I485. It took me another 6 months to go through the insurance claims and few follow ups with the Dr.'s office and the insurance company. But I did get 350+350 = $700 refund that was useful to file for repeated AP and EADs.
May be you can donate it to IV if you get the money back from insurance company since you learned that here at IV. Actually you should donate that to IV.
Our insurance company at that time was Humana.

You can actually go ahead and file yours now and later when ever your dates get current you can send your wifes application , but you have to maintain H1b status and cannot use EAD until you apply for your wife.

SEC. 751. NONCITIZEN MEMBERSHIP IN THE ARMED FORCES.
Section 329 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1440) is amended--
(1) in subsection (b), by striking `subsection (a)' and inserting `subsection (a) and (d)'; and
(2) by adding at the end the following:
`(d) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, except for provisions relating to revocation of citizenship under subsection (c), individuals who are not United States citizens shall not be denied the opportunity to apply for membership in the United States Armed Forces. Such individuals who become active duty members of the United States Armed Forces shall, consistent with subsections (a) through (e) and with the approval of their chain of command, be granted United States citizenship after performing at least 2 years of honorable and satisfactory service on active duty. Not later than 90 days after such requirements are met with respect to an individual, such individual shall be granted United States citizenship.
`(e) An alien described in subsection (d) shall be naturalized without regard to the requirements of title III of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1401 et seq.) and any other requirements, processes, or procedures of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, if the alien--

ITIN cannot be applied separately from the tax return. They have to be done at the same time and mailed in together (1040 + W7).
The way I did it was that I used HRBlock to fill out all my information online, and instead of e-filing, I printed out the return. Make sure that you leave the SSN field blank for your wife since that's where the ITIN will be assigned. HR Block online site did not allow me to leave it blank so I did a 'jugaad' :) I filled it out with the text 123456789, and then after saving it to pdf, I used a pdf editor to blank out the field, and then finally printed it out.
Now fill out the W7, put everything including your joint filer tax return in one envelope and send to the appropriate address and you should be good to go.

The budget recon bill had a conference committee on Dec 21 where the sections 8001 and 8002 were dropped. These sections were for eliminating the dependents from couting against EB visa quota and other retrogression relief.
The anti-immigration groups like FAIR and numbersUSA had a party that night in which they pinched needles in the voodoo dolls of Arlen Specter.
Ok...I made this sentence up.
But anyways, those goodies were dropped in Dec and the house finally approved that version which was finalized on Dec 21.

Under the approved amendment, states are allowed to accept driver's licenses or other state identity documents as evidence of citizenship, but only if the state requires proof of citizenship before issuing such documents.

I asked the finger printing person what does match error mean and this is what she said, first they take all four fingers and then they take individual fingers, during that process it tries to match with the corresponding finger previously taken, they atlease need 50-60 % match. if not they take it again.so nothing to worry about.

If your new I 140 gets denied for some reason, your EB3 case remains unaffected and continues to be processed as before.
Also the answer Ron Gotcher gave on his forum sounds accurate. The only thing I might add is that, sometimes there is an inexperience officer at USCIS who may not understand the change of EB3 to EB2 and accordingly change in 485, and so may actually create problem. But this is not the usual scenario. Anyone with experience of doing this is welcome to share his/her thoughts.
Considering the situation with EB3 priority dates, this may be a good idea of any EB3 who can potentially file EB2. (I know about the opponents of interfiling and I am not personally opposing or approving interfiling, this is just my honest personal opinion/advise for anyone and everyone stuck in EB3).
FYI: I am EB2 and was never EB3.
I wish all of us get our GC soon...

I got an RFE today for H1 Ext and I am confused about it since, I have been with same company from last 5 years and working as a full time employee for the company.
This is my third H1 B from the same company and I never had any RFE's earlier. I am curious to know whether it is possible for me to get an RFE for a client letter?

I dont think so. You should have your 140 approved to invoke AC21 after 180 days
Not necessarily true. Check the memo that is listed earlier in this thread. The question is if during the filing of I-140, if it was the intent of the employer filing the I-140 to employ the applicant, then the I-140 will be approved on its merit. But it does open up for an RFE.
As always, consult an attorney well versed in AC-21 matters.

Thank you for your input, however I differ from you. What we need to educate other fellow members, as well as the community is,
1. Visa recapture has nothing to do with the current state of economy. People in que already have jobs.
2. Ppassing the bill, will give these people incentive to buy homes, good cars, overall help the economy to improve.
3. They can associate the recapture with a fee, that will eventually bring in revenue as well.
Fees? Don't mention that word. They already think of us as a bank giving away free loans. How could you forget so soon, about the fence fees?
